If you were a fashionable girl in the mid 90s, undoubtedly Clueless was your ultimate favorite movie. What fashionite would forget pampered Cher Horowitz who needed the help of a computer to get dressed (for school huh) every day?

It’s interesting to note that Clueless styles are reemerging 18 years after Cher and her friends set those unforgettable high-socks-and-short-skirts trends.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens recently revived Cher’s classic staple ensemble as she hit a screening of the film with her younger sister and some friends. She was only 6 years old when Clueless came out in 1995, but she was able to give justice to the look. Vanessa rocked a short floral skirt, an oversized shirt layered with a sweater, knee-highs, and round classic sunglasses.

Can’t believe I was only 6 years old when Clueless was released…Such a cult classic! When I heard it was playing at Hollywood Forever Cemetery this past weekend, we got our tix right away. And, of course, we had to play dress up.

She may be in the news for the wrong reasons, but at the recent premiere of her latest film, “Scary Movie 5,” we gotta give credit to Lindsay Lohan for looking neat and radiant–and scoring on the fashion meter.

Lindsay showed off her curves in a black, body-hugging creation from Dolce&Gabbana. Gold detailing adorned the neckline and straps. It was a pretty classic look we hadn’t seen in the 26-year-old actress for a long time. She accessorized with a gold cuff, which lent some edginess to the outfit.

Lindsay paired her frock with black mesh booties that looked uniquely chic. The actress also managed to win us over with the way she wore her hair–tousled locks on one side made charming with cheery little braids.

Another lady we’re watching is Ashley Tisdale. The actress looked sultry in a sparkly black dress from Maria Lucia Hohan. The sequined number featured a plunging neckline and unique cut-out sides and sleeves.

 Ashley chose the perfect complement in a Tory Burch clutch. Smoky-eye effect and a nude pout completed the look, which was far removed from the usual girly Disney persona we see in the actress.

Taylor Swift walked right into our fashion spotlight (as she always has) with her golden girl looks at the recently concluded 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 7.

The country songstress kept us in awe with her embellished Dolce&Gabbana gown that featured a sparkly, demure neckline but a dramatic back cut.

For her jewelry, she rocked Norman Silverman earrings and a Le Vian ring. A smooth ponytail, nude lipstick, and Kohl-lined eyes provided more drama for the 23-year-old, a word which can be used to describe her lovelife as well.

With Jimmy Choo shoes completing the look, what description can we throw this ensemble except for “classic?”

Some people are complaining Taylor Swift’s style is predictable, but we find ourselves loving it everytime. Predictable or not, the songstress knows how to avoid a fashion mishap.

Miss Gomez has been constantly creating a beautiful impression on us. At the recent  Spring Breakers premiere in Hollywood, she pulled some classic-Hollywood glamour in a red floor-length dress highlighted with sultry make-up. One of our favorite looks on the red, errr, pink carpet.

Fashion-wise, Selena Gomez has definitely managed to snag our approval long ago.

Spring Breakers, perhaps the year’s most-talked about movie, premiered in Los Angeles on Thursday. And the fashion did not disappoint. The red, er, pink carpet was alive with young-Hollywood fashion.

Veering away from the twenty-something Spring Breakers vibe, Selena Gomez channeled classic Hollywood glamour in a 1920s-inspired red Reem Acra  gown. She tastefully completed the look with a Jimmy Choo clutch. We’ve always been fans of Miss Gomez’s quiet sophisticated style, and with this crimson creation, she certainly didn’t disappoint.

Vanessa Hudgens

If Selena’s style was sophisticated, her friend and co-star Vanessa Hudgens‘ was wild and a bit…strange. Vanessa’s Naeem Khan dress featured an ethnic embellished bodice that flowed into a long black feathered skirt with a thigh-high slit. She completed the look with sparkly footwear and anklets. Too much going on, but the outfit worked, and the actress carried the ensemble well.

Ashley Benson

Ashley Benson, who couldn’t hide her affection for co-star James Franco, looked simply stunning in a lacy 60s-inspired mini dress from Armani. But it was her gorgeous silver pumps that caught our attention!

Bella Thorne

One of our favorite fashionistas, Bella Thorne, was a delight in a strapless floral mini-dress. We especially love the princess-y braid and the pair of pink embellished stilettos.

It was also a feast for the eyes for the fashionites when the fashion elite gathered and dazzled in their designer gowns and frocks. We got some noteworthy fashion finds and are happy to roll down this list of the Oscars 2013 Red Carpet Winners.

Amanda Seyfried

We’ve become true Amanda Seyfried fashion fans. Yes, ever since she pulled off that regal princessy knotted bun at the Les Miserables premiere. At the Oscars, she projects that serene regal aura once again in this lacy Alexander McQueen gown.

Kerry Washington

She has been pleasantly surprising us on the red carpet since Django Unchained. Kerry Washington is leading-lady material in this coral and copper-colored dress from Miu Miu. She ups the fashion factor with Christian Louboutin shoes and a Prada bag.

Olivia Munn

We only have one line for this: The color and the cut suit her.

Naomi Watts

Naomi Watts shines in this metallic blue-gray beaded dress from Armani Privé. The Impossible actress keeps proving to us that she’s not only a winner in her acting chops, but she can also rock some red-carpet looks.

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon in a Louis Vuitton dress. The royal blue fabric–though a little bit on the bright side–works well with her skin tone. The sideswept hairstyle is a classic Hollywood awards staple.

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence isn’t just Best Actress; she’s also a best-dressed list showstopper in this elegant strapless gown from Christian Dior Couture. This is how you should go to the Oscars. Dreamy.

The New York Fashion Week, dubbed as the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center, is a spectacle of styles, tastes, and colors. As much as we’re thrilled about the clothes, the models, and the designers, we’re also excited about the stars in attendance and what they’re wearing. We’re watching the runway, but we’re also watching the front row and the arrivals.

Here are some Hollywood stars spotted at the fashion staple, the New York Fashion Week.

Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl scores an A as she attends the J. Mendel show. The actress has been looking fab the whole week, but our favorite is this floral ensemble which is both perky and elegant. We love the look, youngish and every bit reminds us of spring, which should be here in a few weeks. Ms. Heigl hasn’t always been on our best-dressed list, but we can forgive the other outfits with this one ensemble:

Metallic gray, short-sleeved midi-dress splashed with red floral prints, and neon orange studded Christian Louboutin stilettos, coral clutch, and pretty earrings. The makeup is luminous, and the blonde updo is perfect.

Effortless chic look achieved! Overall, the ensemble highlights the 27 Dresses star’s All-American-girl looks and translucent skin. Perfect fashion turn!

Miley Cyrus

Also gracing the New York Fashion Week is Miley Cyrus. From the front row of Rachel Zoe’s show, Miley sports the superstar stylist’s red hot jumpsuit. She arrived wearing a chic Moschino leather jacket. Her blonde crop gives her look an edgy, rocker-chick feel, worlds part from her teenybopper Hannah Montana days.

Jada Pinkett Smith

Another star worth a mention is Jada Pinkett Smith, who is striking in a green long-sleeved snakeskin jacket-dress accented with a large belt. Will Smith’s wifey completes her look with black high heels.

Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen flaunts her refreshing beauty in floral prints for Seventeen. The 27-year-old is the picture of spring as she covers the teen-oriented magazine’s March cover.

Certainly, Carly Rae could pass for a teenager in this pretty ensemble: A romper featuring two kinds of floral prints and black details. She accessorizes with thick gold bangles and a colorful necklace.

For her makeup, she highlights her blue eyes with winged eyeliner. Her coral blush gives her smooth skin a pretty flush, while her nude lipstick keeps everything balanced. Her bangs lend some edginess to her look.

For the cover itself, she dons a colorful Aztec-print dress and a metallic necklace.

Carly Rae has just been named a judge for Seventeen magazine’s 2013 Pretty Amazing contest, a contest that celebrates young girls and their pretty amazing accomplishments. The Call Me Maybe singer is a fitting choice for the role as she has accomplished a pretty amazing feat herself, shooting to fame with her summer pop tune that became everyone’s LSS (last song syndrome).

No, we’re not merely looking at the red carpet events with rose-colored glasses. Many ladies, including IT girls of the moment Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lawrence, chose to go to the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards in subdued and somber colors. But Lea Michele and Freida Pinto opted for happy hues in this January weather. The dresses were so bright they momentarily reminded us of summer. Remember when actresses opted for yellow at the Emmys? They stunned, and they looked great. This time, pink is the shocker, but did the wearers electrify the red carpet?

Lea Michelle shimmered in a strapless Valentino creation. The dress featured a tiny bodice and a flowing skirt, which reminds us of Jennifer Lawrence’s tomato red outfit at the 2013 Golden Globes.  Lea accessorized with pink teardrop earrings. Her sun-kissed glow completed the gleeful look.

Freida Pinto stepped out in a floor-length, bubblegum pink dress from Roland Mouret. The dress featured black details at the waistline and at the back. The Slum Dog Millionaire star finished off her look with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a Judith Leiber clutch, and a faux bob.

We aren’t jumping in glee about these dresses, but we love Lea Michele and Freida Pinto’s confidence in strutting hues not so much appreciated in the glam books.

Sasha and Malia Obama rocked bright-colored coats at their dad President Barack Obama’s second inauguration on January 21. And we can’t help but notice that the First Daughters are turning into fashion icons like their mom, First Lady Michelle Obama.

Older daughter Malia, 14, wore a plum double-cloth Lady coat and dress from J. Crewe. Her hair wasn’t elaborately styled but was just kept loose and combed sleek. Meanwhile, younger daughter Sasha, 11,  rocked a purple coat and dress by Kate Spade. She wore her hair in soft, pretty curls.

Meanwhile, the first lady wore a patterned navy Thom Browne coat and dress She completed her outfit with Reed Krakoff boots and an embellished belt and gloves from J. Crew. Wow, the Obama ladies love J. Crewe!

For her inaugural ball dress, Mrs. Obama donned a ruby chiffon and velvet creation from an old favorite, Jason Wu, the same designer who did her white one-shoulder inaugural ball gown in 2009.
